Hot Cocoa "Biz"

I just sent this to a friend and then realized I should just post it for anyone who may be interested.

I am making those layered hot cocoa mixes in jars for people to give as gifts or keep for themselves. I'm doing both Peppermint Stick Hot Cocoa and Classic Hot Cocoa. They are selling for $7/jar. I'm having really good luck with it via word of mouth, and I just found out yesterday that I'm getting a booth at the kids school bazaar on the 5th! :)

I'm only doing it for my local area so that they are easier to deliver/ get picked up and I wont have to worry about shipping. They are super easy to make and I've encouraged others to think about trying it out. If nothing else to give as gifts themselves. All the supplies can be bought in a bulk section and I don't know if you have a WinCo near you but they are selling quart jars for 12 for $6.48. The candy canes seem to crunch up the best in a pillowcase with a hammer.

The pictures of the jars are  a little plain. I've used fabric or wrapping paper with rafia or ribbon to dress up the lids and printed my own cards to attach with directions.

My head is on the verge of spinning! I have orders flying in! :) I was a little bummed today when I went to purchase more jars. The price went up $3. Oh well. :-p
