Day 10 - Was pretty uneventful. I   had oatmeal for breakfast and attempted to walk by myself cause my mom canceled on me, but it was FREEZING. Lunch I had leftover spaghetti. and dh and I caught up on dexter.  I planned on making cream of brocooli soup but i didn't buy enough broccoli so i ended up making shepards pie for the kids. And I went out and picked up some vegetable chow mai fun with no egg from the local chinese place.

It was good but it didn't really hit the spot because i really wanted some soup. I called around and not one resteraunt made a dairy free soup not even the tomato soup, so that was a bummer.  I have been meaning to plan the menu for the week just havent had the time. I am thinking tomorrow i will make burritos. I have everything i need except for some rotel but thats a cinch.

DAY 11 - It started with my walk. My mom tried canceling on me but today I was not going to let her lol. I told here that I am already here and bundled and we are walking. And she did it yay! But we were discussing a gym membership somewhere since the temperature is dropping. Hopefully we will figure something out soon.

For breakfast I had oatmeal, for lunch I had leftover chow mai fun and dinner I made the delectable Cream of Broccoli soup and my oh my was it good. We called it ninja turtle soup for the kids they ate it pretty good but i also served some baked chicken breast  and whole wheat crackers with it because i knew they wouldn't devour it. But they ate more than i thought so it was a win. I had 3 servings of fruit today so i did okay as far as getting my fruit in also had some nuts in between the meals.

Dh and i debated a bit about the necessity of meat. Because he said that I eat more now than I did back when i ate meat. He thinks because i eat several times a day (even though they are small snacks) I am not losing weight as fast as i did the last time. I told the reason I'm  losing as fast was because my mom walks to slow. I told him that in order for a workout to be really effective that your heart rate needs to be up for a  minimum of thirty minutes and I am not getting that which is another reason I could use a gym membership which is what I had the last time I lost alot of weight. It had nothing to do with meat. I lost weight because i worked out 2 hours a day 5 days a week. I lost 40 lbs in 3 months when i did that. So I am excited about it going back.

Since the kids finished thier dinners dh let them get some milkshakes. Which is why I am superwoman lol. I beat the ice cream temptation. I had a piece or two of peanut brittle to get through it lol.

Great!! You are doing so good!! And, yum on the soup! ;-) Good idea on the extras for the children's meal...still, I'm glad they tried and liked the soup. Yay for you on the ice cream! I hope your Mom hangs in there with you....if she does I bet she will start walking faster (as it gets colder, lol)! The gym sounds like a good idea...we have YMCA's that offer "family" programs and Recreation Centers too (they both have gyms) and you can take your children when you go and they can do craft classes or some other activity...that might be something you could do too? Either way....Good Luck!!
