1st entry:

My water broke 16WKS, 4 days. I have plently of fluid for the baby. I opted for taking antibotics and bedrest. My dr says thatit's a small leak. I trust and believe that God will kept me and my little boy safe &healthy in Jesus  Name .Amen.

2nd entry: 18wks

Today I am  18 weeks along. I am soo thankful to God about this. About a week ago, my water broke. We have been believing that it well seal over and no infections. Thursday I was supposed to got to the dr.for an ultrasound to check the fluid, etc. I was a little disappointed as it turns out, the appointment nurse didn't even schedule my for an ultrasound like she was supposed to. I rescheduled my appointment for tomorrow the 9th of Nov. I believe all will be well!

3rd entry: No fluid

I went for an ultrasound and there wasn't any fluid. I have a cerclage. Dr says I should take it out to prevent infection. my baby boy still had a heartbeat-158. I have another appt Tuesday to do that. The nurse said that I should drink powerade and gaterade to to build fluid. Until now I just have drinking water.

4th entry: Some fluid and hope!

I went to the dr again today. The ultrasound showed 5mm of fluild and urine in his bladder. I know that is not in even close to the norm, but is better than yesterday's 0mm. I told the nurse about removing the clerclage. She said whatever decision you make, make sure you have peace about it. I asked my friend about it.He said I should wait it out and pray  alot.

My dr came late so i waited in the room, thought and prayed, I didn't have peace about removing clerclage any more because my son is making fluid and there was some in the sac. Removing it could cause labor to come very quickly depending on how cervix looked. Not doing it could cause infection according to drs.

My dr came ready to do the removal. I stopped and asked hom of he looked at the us results. He saw that it was low. I asked him about the clercage and infection issue again. He said that would print out the info for me. While he went to that, another person called and that she was in labor with twins and the arm was sticking out of the mother. So,of course, he had to leave. Sounded like confirmation not go through with removal of the clerclage. He said he would call me with info I asked for and to set up another appt.

Good luck, whatever happens.  I don't blame you if you don't want the cerclage removed.  If you develop signs of infection they can take it out then.  At least, that's my opinion.  This is your baby and your body.  If you feel comfortable with your decision you should stick with it.
