Hello to all! I'm Shannon, and I am nineteen years old. Right now my life has my social needs on hold. I haven't really had a good friend to talk to every week, even every month, since high school in 2006. I have lost contact with my old friends due to busy lifestyles, or just a lifestyle I don't want to raise my children around. I am a full time mother to a beautiful 21 month old girl, Emberlyn, and expecting a little boy, Logan, in late January. I had a part time job at a McDonald's for about seven months, but had to quit the last of August because of pregnancy issues, and wanting my daughter to recognize me as her mother, instead of my mother. (My mom babysat while I worked.) My husband, Aaron, and I got our on place in April after living with my folks for six months and his for a years and a half before that. We were extremely happy that we finally had our privacy after two years of marriage, and almost immediately conceived our little boy. Privacy over. My dad has been out of a job for several months, and my parents have been evicted from their house. Now we are moving my parents in our two bedroom, about 850 sq ft apartment. Privacy completely non existent. I love my parents greatly and would give them my bed to keep them off the street (thank goodness they are laying down a mattress in my children's room), but I know it is going to be very difficult. My mother and I... let's just say butt heads from time to time, and it gets worse when we live together. I won't have my husband to vent to as much, because he is at work from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., then does online college for for days of the week, usually until 9 or 10 at night. In turn that gives me something else to vent about. I needed a dairy that my mother wouldn't find and critic, my daughter wouldn't make a crayola masterpiece, and that might possibly talk back. So, I am back on Cafe-Mom.
