I do most of the shoveling so RAIN is my choice.  We have had snow blowers, but sometimes I cant get them to work.  Shoveling gets closer to the sidewalk sometimes too.  I tell my family, "We will NEVER live on a corner lot.  Look how much more shoveling you have to do!"

Snow is pretty for the first few times.  Then I'm ready for it to go away.  It can come down and melt, but it ususally stays around.  A few years ago we had record snow fall.  I was SO ready for spring!  The street dept's quit going on the side streets for a while so we had the "Grand Canyon" right outside our driveway.  I got stuck in it trying to get the kids to school.  My hubby, the neighbor and I finally got it out.  It took pushing, icemelt, shovels, sand and rocking.
