The Air Force is forcing parents to have their children H1N1 vaccinated in contradiction to recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and the FDA and in contradiction to what U.S. government officials told the American public. (Dupre, H1N1 vaccine for profit and U.S. martial law factor Part III, Examiner, August 7, 2009)
Approximately 25,000 children in on-base Air Force daycare centers will be forced to receive the H1N1 vaccine or face being barred from school according to Allen McDuffee in Truthout today. (Allen McDuffie, Air Force Adds Kids to Pentagon's Mandatory H1N1 Vaccine Program, Truthout, October 18, 2009)
First, officials announced that the novel H1N1 'swine' experimental vaccine would not be mandatory. Then, officials announced that the novel H1N1 'swine' experimental vaccine would be mandatory for all military personnel. Then, officials announced that, although technically not "mandatory" for health workers, New York state health workers lose their jobs if they refuse the H1N1 experimental vaccine. (Dupre, First the H1N1 Flu Vaccinators came for the military, then healthworkers, then children, September 29, 2009)
Vera Sharav of Alliance for Human Research Protection (AHRP) stated today about the children's mandatory vaccination, "This is an unconscionable coercive policy, as military parents rely on the on-base child care available to them. Child care in the military is heavily subsidized on a sliding scale according to household income. Thus, parents who rely on the subsidized child care are forced to choose between transferring their children to child care they cannot afford or, at least from their standpoint, putting their children's health at risk." (Emphasis added)
The Marine Corps will not be implementing a mandatory program because their jurisdiction to do so "ends with servicemen and women."
The Army spokesperson similarly indicated that, "Nothing in our forthcoming guidance will require vaccinations."
AHRP board member and vaccine expert also associated with the National Vaccine Information Center, Dr. Meryl Nass, MD, noted "although soldiers are subject to mandatory vaccinations, mandatory medical examinations and potentially even mandatory medical procedures - their families did not sign up for this!"
"So, what right does the Air Force have to force them to be vaccinated with a controversial, inadequately tested vaccine?" asks Sharav.
In August, letters leaked in the UK linked the vaccine for the bio-engineered H1N1 flu not only to a deadly nerve disease and forced infertility, but also to global human experimentation. (Dupre, H1N1 weapon of mass destruction vaccine and human experimentation, Examiner, August 2009)
The U.S. has a long history of violating human rights of society's most vulnerable individuals, such as prisoners, military personnel and their families, by using them for medical nonconsensual human experimentation. (See: OPERATION H1N1: Vaccine Liberty or Death)
Dr. Nass stated, "Children need to be especially protected by society, as they are not competent to make vaccination decisions for themselves. This is why there are special requirements to be met before you can perform research on children. You can't bribe parents to offer their kids as experimental subjects, for example."
