I am a Baby Boomer! What that means is that I was born in the 1950’s and was a child of the 1960’s and was married in the 1970’s. Some may say so what!
I guess what I am trying to say has part of the Baby Boomer generation we have seen our country grow in way that most take for granted.
I can remember working for less than one dollar per hour and thought that when minim wage went to a dollar sixty-five an hour I was raking in the dough. How many or you can still remember that? Gas was fifty cents a gallon and you could still change the spark plugs in your car yourself.
Then The Seventy’s hit and the button fell out of the job market. Lady’s that is right after we burn our bra’s and enter the job market in a large way, and before there were computers.
ANY WAY SO MUCH FOR THE TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE!
Basically what I am saying is that we as Boomers have lived through times like these before.
From what I can remember is that we as Americas took back what was are in the Seventy’s and started buying only American made. When we did this it created jobs here in our country. If we did it once we American’s can do it again!
Look at the labels in all your clothing for the made in America.
All your Fruits, Vegetables, and Meat products are labeled with the Country or Origin buy only grown in America.
If we create a demand for American made and grown products all the manufacturing plants will have to reopen here.
What do you say America shall we pick ourselves up brush ourselves off and create a demand for our products made and grown in our Country; and start to grow again?
