She was colic and I think thats why I held her so much and let her nurse herself to sleep. Mostlyt to shut her up! Sounds bad, but she cried for 3-4 hours a day and it was really hard. Shes over the colic but wouldnt sleep in her crib more then 30 mins. at a time so she sleeps in bed with my husband and I. Well he sleeps in the guest room mostly now. After 9 months of this it is really wearing on me and I need to get some sleep and time with my husband. Anyone have any ideas. My Dr. Said to put her in the crib and let her cry herself to sleep. It would only take three days of that and she will sleep on her own...Dr says! He said it may take her 3-4 hours and she may throw up before she falls asleep. Thinking about trying tonight and the next 2 nights. But I dont know if I can emotionally do it. I tried this before and only lasted 15 mins. If anyone has any ideas or just keep us in your prayers. I dont have any family around to help and Im rally drained. Thank you

Your doctors right. She will cry. But she will get over it and learn to self soothe herself and sleep on her own. The older you wait , the harder it will be to get her out of your bed.
