Just had to share some funny/sweet things my kids say (or have said)
Jake (who is 21 mo) will get on his "cell phone" and tell whomever he's having a convo with about how he took out the trash or whatever and then say something (incoherent) about "adets" (big brother alex) or "bebe benda bebe" ( I think this is baby Benjamin... not sure though) Also, when walking through the store, every time a phone rings he puts his hand to his ear " ewwo? buhbye..." and then look around like "What? I didnt do it!"
Alex, my loving 6 y/o... for the past 2 weeks his nana (my mom) has given him $1 for getting all green dots in school... well, my car is a POS and falling apart every which way possible. He asked the other day why I didnt just get a new one and I told him (because I am as honest with him as possible) that we simply did not have it in our budget to get a new one. He replied "So, you don't have the money?" No, Alex, I don't have the money. "Oh... well, when I get my dollar from nana for getting green dots this week, I'll have $3. I will buy you a new car with my $3." SO SWEET!!!
Alex came home from school yesterday and they had watched Magic School Bus during class. Apparently this made Alex want to share about his super-hero movies he watches at home (Transformers, Spiderman, IronMan, GI Joe, etc) and he was informed by his classmate that he was talking to, that this child had never seen these movies. Alex came home yesterday and said "Mom, we need to take the TV to my school so the kids in my class can watch those movies... Magic School bus isn't as good. I want to watch GI Joe at school." All matter-of-fact just like that. Yeah.
Just thought I would share... They make me smile!!
