Sara POV

I'd already pushed the wedding day back a couple of times, I knew I was making Blaise nervous. It's just, everytime I saw the date on the calendar get too close to the date it actually was, my chest got tight and breathing became a real issue.  I figured he wanted me conscious on the wedding day, and without a breathing bag, and I was working my way to that.  It was just going to take patience.  And possibly liquor.  But I would get there.  Really.

In an attempt to soothe him, I decided to put on my game face and get the dress.  My choices in shopping partners was fairly limited.  I honestly began to wonder if I needed to get some female friends when I saw Reg, J and Seth waiting on the porch to come with me. I'd thought about asking Peni, it was already decided that she would be my maid of honor, partially because I knew if I began to freak out, Peni could hold me down.  She would be perfect for that, but as a shopping partner, not so much.  She didn't even want to shop for her own dress, after all.

Coming down the stairs, I gave Blaise a small smile, taking a deep breath when I saw him casting a warning glare towards the boys.  His arms moved around my waist, giving me a slow steady kiss, pulling away to say, "Have fun. Good luck,"

I moaned against him,  "Sending me off all hot and bothered is just wrong"

"Yeah what kind of man are you." J said with a smile, his arm moving around my shoulder.

I laughed, leaning up to kiss Blaise's jaw,  "My man" I moved down the porch, blowing him a kiss, rolling my eyes as Reg placed his arm around my waist, giving Blaise a grin of his own.  At least Seth was behaving, I thought to myself.

Getting to the store, it was nice to see they were ready for me, a rack of dresses set aside to try on.  Looking them over with a discerning eye, I saw four that looked like what I wanted.  Turning  I couldn't bite back the laugh seeing the three great big men on the little tiny dainty white bench, all of them already scoping out other prospective brides.

Reg POV

Queity, I said to Jalil,  "An 8...definate potential." pointing to a hot little blond looking at dresses.  We'd agreed on a fun way to pass the time while Sara spent God knows how long trying on dresses.

Following our line of vision, Sara looked her over carefully, "Really, an 8?  I dunno...she's kinda flat...I'd give her a 6" only my ex would be checking out chicks and rating them on a hotness scale while she shops for her wedding gown.  It's one of those things I loved about her.

J laughed explaining,  "It's a different rating scale?" Seth shook his head, knowing exactly what we were talking about.

Sara raised a brow, giving us a curious smile as she asked, "What kind of rating scale?  Where do I fall?"

Laughing, I thought it best to pass that one along,  "Yeah J, you tell her"

J gave her a grin, "The cold feet-o-meter. You're a 2. Normal nurves, but confident in what you want." he pointed over to the little blond cutie,  "But she... she is a 9. A couple of smooth moves, and a whisper of doubt...."

"You're bad. You two are horrible."  Seth told us, shaking his head.

"Ohhh...so the higher the number the easier to nail? I got you" Sara caught on with a grin, pointing to a cute brunette"She's picking out ugly dresses, she's obviously not to into it, she'd be a 10" Merlin, she was something else.

Jalil POV

"Shopping on the clearance rack for wedding dresses does not scream dedication." I laughed watching the girl checking the price tags while hardly looking over the dressed.

Reg nodded to her, whispering to me, "Scrappy brings a group of guys to pick out her dress and you gave her a two?  Really, I'd have said at least a seven."  Laughing I knew I was being nice. If Scrappy was faltering in decision to marry the Tight Wad, it wasn't going to be because of my encouraging. Though I wouldn't mind picking up some pieces afterwards.

"Ok, you guys keep a look out from your bridal skanks," Scrappy told us. "All I ask is you be here when I come out so I can pick a dress that will knock his socks off ok?"

Reg looked up when he heared Scrappy, "Right here...gotcha."

"There's no doubt you'll knock his socks off." I winked. "We'll help you find the perfect dress."

"What'd you think?" Scrappy walked out again in a gorgeous brown sugar dress asking, "Honestly now?"

Reg looks her over slowly with a smile, "Beautiful...." he gave her a grin, "Will it stay up? Not that it falling would be a problem."

Seth was in awe as my eyes traveled over how the dress accentuated her small waist. In the dress her breasts made a perfect heart shape. I wondered how someone would get inside of all of the layers of that fabric. Thoughts appeared of having fabric over my shoulders, head, thrown over my back just trying to get inside. Thank goodness I was never planning to get married. Then I told her, "It's stunning. Absolutely stunning. But does brown say born again virgin?"

Everyone except for Scrappy thought it was funny. Ignoring my comment for the moment Scrappy looked at Seth saying, "Thanks sweetie." Then she addressed me, "Your right, all this work, I should definitely wear white." The kiss she blew him a kiss, glaring at Reg, "At least someone is taking this seriously." As soon as she turned I snickered at Reg for being the only one getting in trouble.

When Scrappy disappeared I asked, "How does a brown dress rate on the scale? I'd think high so they can use it as a back up dress for another event if things don't work out."

Reg laughed softly saying back, "I'm thinking eight, maybe you'll get lucky." Both of us looked over at the door, I'm sure both of out twisted minds wondering what chances that gave us. Men - we are all dogs.

Reg POV

She came out of the dressing room, biting her lip as she asked,  "Ok, it's off white,,,,but closer right?"

"Isn't that the dress from Beauty and the Beast?" Seth asked her.

Personally, I didn't care what movie it was from, my concerns were much more important, "It looks like your breasts are flat...is that painful?" Flattening breasts should be illegal, I thought to myself, they were there to be admired and enjoyed.

"It kind of looks like a sweet sixteen dress. Definitely doesn't have the sex appeal.... the sweet virginal sex appeal blushing brides should have." J said as he looked her over.

Sara blushed, laughing lightly, heading in to change,  "Ok, next dress"

Jalil grinned my way as Seth tried to scold us, "You're terrible."

Laughing I said, "You'll learn"

J shook his head,  "Nah... he's trying to follow in Marcus's footsteps. Find the right girl and suck up to her for the rest of your life."

Sara came out, looking like a dream as she asked, "Suck up to who?"

"To you. Blaise should be sucking up to you for even considering wearing that dress. That's very sexy."  J said making Sara blush again.

"What's up with all the flowers?" I asked giving the dress a closer inspection, "And why are they brown?  What about wedding makes these people think brown?"

Seth spoke up, "I was thinking the same thing. Maybe silver or something but brown?"

Sara laughed,  "OK, no brown, I gotcha" shaking her head.

"What's up with all the fabric on these dresses. If your doing this right, the men have waited for ever to get to the honeymoon. Then he has to get through a dozen layers of complicated dress to get it?" Jalil asked looking at all the layers.

Laughing, I told him, "I think your supposed to take it off first"

"Who has time to do that in the closet at the reception. Those closets." He smirked watching Sara turn that lovely shade of reg once more, Seth dropped his head into his hands, shaking it.

"You pack guys suck" Sara said, looking at J,"Exactly how many times have you seen me naked?" awareness flashed across her features as she held up a hand, "No, wait, I don't want to know"

J cut her some slack, "I'm just messing around. Try on the next one. I'll be good I promise." Sara rolled her eyes, heading to change once more.

Jalil POV

When Scrappy walked out of the room, we were all stunned. There was a collective expression of astonishment of how amazing she looked.

"That's gorgeous...." Reg said quietly while he looked over her with a smile. It wasn't hard to see he could have been imagining her walking down an isle into his hand to get married. If he wouldn't be trying to figure out how to get a bridesmaid alone in the closet before the night was threw, I sure it could have worked. That's why men like us should never get married. That dress was amazing. We all agreed.

"Knock his socks off kinda thing?" Scrappy asked as looking at us through the mirror.

"Be right back," Reg excused himself, looking mischievous as he left.

"Definitely," I told her as my eyes admires the way the fabric wrapped around her.

"That would knock my socks off if it was me," Seth told her.

"And it accents all the right parts." My hand made an hourglass figure following the elegant lines the dress formed around her sexy shape.

Scrappy stood on a box turning herself to the left and the right saying, "I just want to be perfect for him."

"It's stunning on you, Scrappy." I told her seriously. That's when Reg showed back up with a grin holding a tiny lacy lingerie set.

"See, this is what you need if you really wanna knock his socks off," He told her. I laughed while Seth blushed a bit, looking away. "But you should try it on, so we can be certain."

"Oh, that is cute," Scrappy laughed.

"That one is definitely a must see," I told her.

Eyes on Reg and I she said, "Wouldn't you drop dead if I said yes"

"I'd recover pretty damn quickly, I promise," Reg said.

"Drop dead would not be the first reaction. Though Seth here.. I'm not so sure." I teased my cousin who rolled his eyes at me.

"Nice try," Scrappy smiled. "I'm so not trying this on. That would definitely make my eight a ten, huh?"

Reg acknowledged we were busted as I told her, "That would be a strong indication of a sure thing."

Reg POV

Sara rolled her eyes, laughing, but not disagreeing, "You guys are horrible" going in to get changed.  We waited, J continueing to eye the goods around the shop.  I wasn't stressing it, I was pretty I'd be getting a Little Bit tonight anyway.  She was good times all on her own, right now I had no desire to window shop.

Sara came out, dress over one arm, the little white lingerie set hanging over her finger as she tossed us a wink and a grin, "It fit perfect"

Laughing, I tried to push away the mental image, "And you say we're bad"

"Are you sure. You can't see the back." J tried to bargain, "We're just here to help

"I already know what my ass looks like, we're good"  Sara said laughing, that blush creeping up her cheeks once more.

Seth took the dress from Sara, being a little gentleman, Sara gave him a smile saying,  "Your a sweetheart, you know that?"

I nudged J. "Your losing ground to the pup"

"Just being helpful..."  Seth said quietly with a smile.

Sara's middle finger discreetly scratched her cheek in my direction as J looked across the room, "Like I said," he grinned, "I only really like the sure things. Excuse me. i'll catch up." He walked across the room to talk to the brunette Sara had pointed out earlier.

Sara POV

I laughed, watching J head across the room to the poor bride that I knew didn't stand a chance, paying for the dress and my accessories before linking my arm through Seth's, "Walk me home?  I think the J is gonna be busy.."

"I'll be happy to." Seth laughed, shaking his head "What kind of guy picks up a woman in a bridal shop."

I couldn't hold back a laugh, reminding him,  "He asks the woman whose fiance picked her up in a bar" I nudged his arm with a smile,  "Some girls just like the bad boys, what can I say" Laughing as J came back over, programming his phone with whatever name he was calling this one.  "Your so bad," I said with a grin, knowing it was that part of them that endeared me.  Walking to a secluded area, Reg and I apparated us back to the house.
