Sleepless Randomness.

Just can't sleep. I woke up really early to get ready for my interview. My step brother and his fiancee just brought their newborn home from the hospital. Skye's been excited so I picked her up and told her now she got to meet the new baby Eli. After she held him the first time, of course that is all she wanted to do lol. "Let me hold it,let me hold it". She doesn't grasp that "it's" a he. We had dinner, we came back and I had a long nap. As did Skye... So we are BOTH awake right now at 4:30am. She is laying down watching "Monster Squad" Some 80's movie that I really don't think is appropriate for her age, but her daddy lets her watch it. So this is crazy but I'll get over it.

I am just thinking about the fact that in 6 months or so we will pack up and ship out. That is fine with me but it's the where part that scares me.It's weird not knowing where! My husband will start his tech school in April. I just found a decent job. Guaranteed 40 hours, full time benefits. Other than my trusty Gps sending me in circles around the building..lol..and luckily I am better at getting home from St louis than navigating there. The gps told me I should drive straight into the Mississippi River! Lmao. Well you know I ignored it otherwise I would be sitting here. it just feels weird getting a job and then leaving it in less than a year. But we have to do what we have to do and it will make things a lot better for the time we're here.

One thing that pissed me off. Last night I went over to my older sister's house to borrow some shoes for my interview. I told her our cousin Mandy had told me who to call to get the interview (she works there). And My sister said "Oh she had told me about getting a job there awhile back but I didn't know how to apply". Which to me is just lazy because Mandy is always on facebook and all you have to do is ask her. So she said "well I dont want to take your job away or anything so should I wait to apply" I said "yes. I'd wait until I know if I got a job or not". So the very next morning (today) I got the job. The lady who hired me mentioned her. "If I hire mandy's other cousin..." There were other positions avail. but it still pissed me off because she didn't know that and we had talked about it less than 24 hours before my interview. She can be so inconsiderate at times. That's not the first time she's done that to me either.

Okay well I'm done. Skye's sleeping now and I'm going to join her!! Of course the husband SNORES ughh...which is why I try to fall asleep before him but I am way late on that factor lol. Goodnight!

How exciting...a new job and new home soon and so many possibilites! Sweet! Hopefully, you won't be up so early every morning, lol! I'm sure things will calm down...this is just the beginning of a new chapter in your life...enjoy! Congrats to your Step brother and his SO on their new baby! Sorry about your Sis, grr!
