Purchasing soy candles from a company who purchases their supplies and makes their wax in the US is advisable as you will also be helping to support local farmers and will likely get a higher quality candle.  Pay attention to their wax as well as many candle makers use soy blends which may still contain paraffin. 100% natural soy wax is the safest way to go. Not all soy candles are created equal just like any other type of candle so you may have to try a few different brands until you find the one you like the best.
