Silly Horoscope

In my search of inspiration for my journal today, I decided to look up my daily horoscope. It was not inspiring. It was negative and if I believed any of it, I'd be really depressed right now. Apparently, someone out there thinks that my life is a major challenge and that I'm lonely. This is not true and it's not me.

My life isn't a huge challenge. It's a series of little triumphs and works in progress. Although some things are harder to do than others, for every achievement, there is a sense of accomplishment so it's all good. I am certainly not lonely. Thinking of whether or not there is support in my life, I KNOW there is. It's not always offered but if I ever ASKED for anything, someone in my life would provide it.

Every day, I focus on the good things happening in my life and around me. My life isn't perfect but it's made a lot better by seeing something negative as a situation that can change. My outlook on my day has a huge impact on the kind of day I'm having.

Maybe it was good to read that silly horoscope. It reminded me to focus on the type of day I want to have instead of the one someone else thinks I'm destined to have.

Bravo, sometimes the negative statements really show us what we positively have.  I love your positive attitude.

If I want my horroscope I'll go to the onion.com. Nothing will give you abetter laugh than that. I find that "real" horoscopes are more self fulfilling prophecys. You will unconciously seek out those things negative or positive if you put a heavy belief in them.
