Somewhere in the process of making friends, snagging siggies, sending messages, joining new groups, and designing our homepages, I have suddenly realized something wonderful is going on.
We touch each others' hearts. Have you ever followed a thread from an interesting post or reply, which led to another interesting thread, and found yourself on a complete stranger's homepage, and feel like you've known this person forever--that she is a friend you haven't met yet?
That happens to me all the time, on cafemom. I have to say I genuinely believe God works thru cafemom, hooking us up with new Sisters in Christ, using our friends to comfort us, encourage us, laugh with us, cry with us... I truly believe that cafemom is one of the ways God shows His love for us.
Today, I followed a thread to someone's homepage and heard a song I never heard before--a song about grief and cherishing every moment we have with others, because we never know if we'll ever have a chance to see that person again, or to hear his/her voice even one more time.
I had to cry, because it touched my heart--the place where my little Sophie lives--the place where my grief also lives. I miss her so much! Then, I found out a little more about this cafe mom and found out that this is the anniversary of the death of her son. Then, I really cried! Grief over losing my little dog consumes me sometimes, and I cannot imagine what it would be like if I lost one of my (5) sons!! God bless her sweet heart! Giving a musical voice to her grief--expressing herself on her homepage, touched my heart and reminded me to never tire of telling the ones I love how much I do love them.
So, thank you to this certain mom, and thank you to all you cafemoms who touch my heart, comfort and encourage me when times get rough. And I thank God for cafemom, for He uses this place to shower us with His love and compassion!

Wanda, I have always thought God uses CM, and I loved this journal of yours. May God bless you, and help you find comfort in your heart...
I know you've made alot of people smile in Sophie's Sweetie's, and brought alot of people that used to be strangers together as friends, so thank you for that. You are as much a blessing to others, as they are to you...so keep up the good work, I know God must be SO proud of you!
