So, I am sitting here at my computer at 3:00 in the morning...Like most everynight. I could sleep ALL day and I mean ALL DAY and still not be tired by around 10:00PM, when most normal adults with 2 very active kids would be doing. I guess this is the ONLY time I have to myself when I can think, watch movies that are not G or PG rated, and to e-mail my husband. Ugh...and Lord help me I want another child too lol...Maybe two more...but for now I just want to work on one more. So, tonight I watched "The Da Vinci Code" It was pretty good. I've watched "Angels & Demons" as well. I would like to get the books by Dan Brown eventually. But, I have to finish my "Chonicles of Narnia" book first...And, I will eventually be getting to Twlight books lol...Probably by the time I get them all and start reading them, all the movies will be out...Especially since if I heard right the 3rd movie will be coming out in 2011?
So, if any of you have ever read my journals before you'd know that my son can be a holy terror at times. Well, we had begun the process of testing him for ADHD and after 3 or 4 visits I just felt like the Dr. was wasting my time. I have wanted to take Red dye #40 out of his diet for some time because I have read about it helping with ADHD...but, I never actually did anything about it.. Well, tomorrow I am going to go through ALL of the food in the house and find what has red #40 in it and put it aside and not give it to him. I read on the back of this Lays Stax (Pringles) Chips container that it has it in it and my son eats them all the time...I always figured that stuff with red dye in it would I don't know?... Be red? But, I guess not. I also read that high frutose corn syrup is bad for kids with ADHD...but that is in just about everything...If I took the time I am sure I could get my families diet down to meats, fruits, and veggies only...But, if I did that I doubt my kids would eat anything except maybe fruit....and my husband would starve aside from meat..So, ya I am going to do that and see how that goes and I will update with a post after doing it for a few weeks. But, I guess for now I am going to go and try to get to sleep...So, until next time..

We don't give my youngest red #40 if it can be at all helped. Both my dh and I were adhd as kids and even way back then they told mothers not to give red dye to their kids. It does work, I hope you have good luck with it :)
