Night of bang-ups!

Poor baby girl. She just wasn't having a good night tonight. She was playing today and ended up smacking her front teeth/lip on a low shelf and caused a good bit of bleeding. Took me forever to figure out what was bleeding because she didn't want to open her mouth, but it looks like she might have torn a little bit of that connective tissue that connects the inside of your lip to the gums above the front teeth? Ouch. :(

Then we went to hubby's friend's house for the evening and she tripped over the back of my foot and landed over their shoe rack. Of course it has to be metal, and of course out of all the corners to land on, that one didn't have the rubber stopper on it, so she nearly gave herself a second belly-button. The skin's all scratched up and red, looks like it should have bled but didn't bleed.

Poor baby girl. I feel so awful for her! Mostly because there wasn't anything I could do to prevent either accident!
