14 year old: Large painting of horses she asked for all year, some horse things from Cracker Barrel, new knitting needle set.

11 year old: Telescope, three model car kits, Phineas & Ferb Season 1, and a loom for doing weaving.

7 year old: A full fuctioning skeleton, a volcano making kit, crystal making kit, rock tumbler, and a scooter.

5 year old: Her first big girl bike with training wheels, American Girl doll, and some Cozy Critters sets to go with her dollhouse.

1 year old: A new wagon, a new bead coaster, a puppy that does all sorts of cool things including says his name, a teddy bear I made for him myself.

On top of this they get a bag of books and usually a movie for each.  I don't spend obscene amounts in my opinion.  I know other families that are buying game systems and quads for their kids.  My kids just don't get into that stuff.  They are more into educational stuff and making things themselves.

I love your selection of gifts.  One of my fondest memories was helping my son make a volcano for a science fair project.  He kept it for years.  Knitting needles and a loom can be so creative....Now I confess I still have my rock tumbler I just have not use it in years.
