My Experience With Kmart & My $50 Gift Card

Hello, ladies... My name is Sandy and I am now a Kmart shopper. The reason I say "now" is because before I was given the $50 Kmart Gift Card by CafeMom earlier this month, you would have never caught me shopping at Kmart. I had heard many things about Kmart and most of them were not good. The Kmart that used to be around here closed down many years ago so I had never had a need to check into it anyway. The gift card was my incentive and I can promise you that I will now be frequenting Kmart's website quite often. I did shop online because the closest Kmart to me is about 4 hours away. I found great deals on the website and I was simply AMAZED by all of the sales they have going at all times. I have seen name brand dresses on their website for $2. Yes, ladies... $2. That's not even the half of it either.

I used my gift card to buy my daughters some shoes. They were in dire need of them. I just didn't have the time to drop what I was doing and go hunting for the perfect shoes for them. You can tell these shoes have been worn but I didn't want to come here and give rave reviews without actually having reviewed the product.

These boots were purchased for my 5 year old. They are absolutely cute and she LOVES the way they feel on her feet. They fit like a glove and don't hurt her at all and they are even insulated to keep her toes cozy and warm. Another problem I have with her and shoes is she tends to tear them up within a week of having them. Not so bad that she can not wear them but to where they look really bad. These boots are DURABLE! They are made of REAL leather. None of that imitation stuff! They zip on the inside so they are easy for her to put them on by herself. I got them for around $15.

I got these shoes for my two year old. It's hard to find shoes that fit her properly because she has such chubby feet and I know a lot of moms battle with that until their children are a certain age and sometimes a lifetime! I thought these were so cute and when I ordered them, I was skeptical because usually Mary Janes for babies are cheaply made and not worth the price that is put on them. That was not the case with these. The insoles are SO squishy and they snuggle her foot just right. They are also made out of REAL leather and have this wonderful sewn in detailing! I like the sewn in stuff better than them just pasting an accesory to the shoe because babies can tear them off and choke! I also got these for around $15. Not too bad, I must say!

And last, but definitely not least, I got this picture frame. I am ALWAYS in need of frames but I hate spending the money on them. Most stores are just way too proud of their flimsy, plastic frames and want you to pay top dollar to own some gaudy, breakable thing. This frame is made out of REAL wood. Not plastic... Not fiber board... NONE OF THAT STUFF. Real, honest to goodness, wood. It is sturdy! I got this so I could put one of the family Holiday Photos I plan on taking this year and hang it on my wall. Something the whole family can enjoy. You can stand this up or hang it. The best part about it? It cost me less than $3. That is an 8x10 frame and we all know how much those can cost!! You can put a 5x6 photo behind the matting or put an 8x10 photo over the matting!

That is all I bought that go round but I intend to go back to the Kmart.com website and spend the rest of my gift card on Holiday Decorations and small things for family member for Christmas. I enjoyed every minute looking around their website. They have it set up so it is so easy to navigate! And what great deals!
