So many people thinks that losing weight is just about losing weight..its so much more than that.My self esteem has been boosted,I feel better in my own skin and have also started working outside the home again.Before I shed my pounds,I was a basket case,never leaving the house,always wanting to wear bigger clothes that hung loosly so I actually looked older than what I am,not having any confidence etc.Losing 140 plus pounds has literally transformed me into a better person,granted there are some things that I would like to change,Im still working on losing 10 more pounds,but all around I am thrilled with who I have become and I have done it all on my own without any trainers etc.I have learned so much about myself,eating habits etc,that I know what I have to do to keep it off.So anyone that thinks that they need expensive meals,top notch trainers,fitness experts you dont need it!Just drink plenty of water,incorporate some cardio into your week,eat lean meats,plenty of fruits,veggies,whole grains,eat small meals throughout the day and you will notice a difference!My weight loss journey began with a knee injury,I couldnt play with my dd,run,or do anything other than housework and that alone made me tired.I got tired of the way that I felt.I was at my biggest size ever(size 24-26)So began the journey,I started small and made small changes,like switching all my beverages to water,eating healthier and adding excersice into my week.I would say about a month later I was feeling better and more so my pants were looser,I havent reverted back to my old eating patterns either.Once you start making healthier changes,you just dont want to go back to the way things used to be.I run 3-5 times a week,no matter if i work or not(i work outside the home)I also just plowed through an 8 week plateau(which sucked lol)There have been times that I have fallen off the wagon,but thats okay,that means I am human and can and will make mistakes.I always think when that happens that tomorrow is a new day!So for all those moms that want to lose weight and think they cant do it without the high priced foods,or diet aids,you dont need those!You can lose weight on your own if you put your mind to do it!
