Free Gift to Someone in Need and Expecting

Before I posted these items on Craig's List I said to my husband, if they don't sell, I will find a family that needs them and give them away. I think that someone was listening to me and is testing my meddle. So here we are.

I know there are a lot  of mothers on Cafemom who are in desperate straights. Just like most women on this site I have read the journals of mothers who can't feed their children, who are homeless or who's family has just come on horrible luck. So, I have some baby things that I want to pass on for free to one family who is expecting a baby this holiday season. It is a pretty gender neutral lot of stuff but I do have boys so some of it is blue/boyish!

It's not much but I know it's something and that's what counts. Leave your story in the comments or send it to me via PM. I'll pick someone after this weekend. I want to make sure this gets around first.

2 Footie PJ's

Head support for swing (after market products are not safe to use with car seats)

2 wrap around shirts

8 body suites (newborn and 0-3 months)

2 Gowns

1 Swaddler

Johnson's and Johnson's unopened soap

2 pacies

a Travel diaper station

Fleece footie PJ's size 0-3 months

I have the matching diaper bag to this bottle cooler and wipe bag and that is included as well.

Everything is in good used condition.

this is a great thing u are doing. u could alsosee if there is a pregnancy cneter in ur area that could take these things.

If no one responds to this I will. I just wanted to see if maybe I could reach someone that didn't know how to get other help. I know when I was first pregnant I didn't know how to ask for help. I want to give back. We've had a hard year ourselves but I know other people have had it much harder. I can't buy new things this year for even my children or give money to charities but I can give what I have to give.

There's a place called Life Care on Anderson Ln. They help with pregnancies and everything is completely free, they also have a closet with maternity clothes and baby clothes for the people in need. You could donate it to them! :) I can give you the exact address if you want.

Just two nights ago a neighbooring family just barley escaped their house with their lives. The house and all of their belongings were lost in the fire. They have two small boys and are expecting another baby, but I am not sure of the due date or gender. I'd be happy to pass on anyting.
