this is very tragic, but I also think that the mother should be brought up on charges for leaving the baby in the car ALONE!!! Im so sick of parents doing careless shit because they are lazy or in a hurry and kids suffering for it. This reminds me of someone I knew a long time ago whose cousin put her child in a carrier car seat but did NOT belt it to the car OR strap the baby in the carrier. She was in a high speed wreck and the child was thrown from the car and killed. She was sent to prison and her family felt that she didnt deserve it. I strongly disagree, she SHOULD rot!!! When you become a parent it is your number one responsibility to take the utmost care in the safety of your children. I realize ppl make mistakes, Lord knows I do, but I also know that I, nor my children are invincible.
I told my husband yesterday that how lazy could a mother be to pull the little hatch on the car seat and carry a carseat in? It is sad but hell what mother leaves her baby in this society, well obviously this one. It was so easy when my DD was that little and I had a 2 door car. Now that she is 2 it gets harder with getting her out of the carseat and back in.
I am so glad that the baby has been found safe but I still don't agree with what the did by leaving him in the car while she went into the post office in the first place. Who in the world does that in this day and age. I don't care if you can see the car or not. The car must not have been locked either for the other lady to get him out of the car so quickly.
So was the woman who took him trying to help? The mother needs to be held accountable, I cant believe she left the baby in the car.
I definitely think the mother should be charged in this case too... Who the HELL leaves their infant in a car alone??? I'm glad the baby was found, but jeez...
The baby is safe and back with the parents, Yes the young lady was very irrisable by leaving the baby in the car. We all have to be thankful the baby was found and safe.
