Are you the type of person who wears BLACK eyeliner religiously?? Do you feel that you are pretty adventurous when it comes to eyeshadow but can't seem to shake the black liner? Maybe you are afraid to try something else of feel that black is the only one that really brings out your eye color. Some of you may want to try color but are too afraid to take a leap or don't know where to start.

I want to give you tips on how to ease your mind into the idea of buying colored eyeliner because there is something for everyone of all ages. I'm sure some of you picture colored eyeliner being electric blue or something truly outrageous that is ok only for the young people or maybe you don't know what is out there and what looks good. Sure, there are plenty of beautiful colors like Emerald green that really stand out but there is also moss green, olive, and chartreuse which can give such flattering results with only a hint. An olive liner may look luck a mucky brownish green but if you wear it those flecks of gold in your eyes may just sparkle a little more. I have introduced plenty of women with blue, green and gray eyes to the awesome results from mauve, mulberry, and plum eyeliners. These colors can enhance light eyes just as beautifully as black could but in a softer more romantic way. Maybe that flowy tunic with browns and purples needs something softer to play up the hippy vibe and that is where you bring in your colored liner because it is just as much a part of your wardrobe as shoes or earrings. Ladies with brown eyes can get away with so much but why don't you try deep brown during the day??

Well ladies next time you go out to pick up a few staple items try a new look on and see what you have been missing!

I am enjoying your journals, I am just now starting to build my eyeliner colors....I usually wear black or dark brown.  BUT I did buy an Emerald & a Plum. Also a glittery black from Hard Candy called Licorice!  I LOVE IT!  You are righ, you can wear color eyeliner and enhance your eyes, I think more so then with eyeshadow!  Thanks for writing this!
