Angela's Curious Journal

Real Love, Real Faith, Real Life...

I've heard it say a thousand times, "When God closes one door, He opens another."

What they don't say is in the meantime and in between time...there's hell in the hallway!

I'm talking about times of transition.  Whether in parenting, marriage, managing a business (or career, if applicable), in my labors of love for God and all other places where transition is possible...I notice that, when going from one situation, circumstance or opportunity to another, there are the awkward times of unease, inconvenience, uncertainty or outright fear.

What am I suppose to be doing right nowWhy does it feel like I've left something undoneIs that going to work outIs this really for me?  Questions flood the mind as the sounds of doors (opportunities) closing and opening almost overstimulate the head and shake the heart.

And the voices of people giving conflicting and disparate advice fills the space around with chaos and instability.  There is hell in the hallway--a tortuous experience of discord and seemingly purposeless activity that serves to distance from peace and promote unrest.

It's time to change.  It's time to walk through another door.  Gotta take my finger out of my ears, lift my head and press pass the madness.  Here we go!
