When DD was in preschool she came home from school on the day of their Christmas party with all of the usual goodies, cookies, rice krispies treats ect. One of the things that she came home with and though was so cute was a ziplock bag full of oatmeal and glitter and a tag that said "Magic Reindeer Food" and instructions. That was over 10 years ago and I still have that tag. So this year I decided to make some of my own with a twist. I took a few cups of horse feed and some cupcake sprinkles that I got from the Dollar Tree and made these.

(blurry I know)

I reworked the tag and i found some reindeer goodie bags that were left over from last Christmas. I made one for my nieces and one for my fiance's great niece. They turned out really cute.

This is what the tag reads if you would like to make some of your own. I think that if you have children of school party age that they would love them as party favors. Like I said before you can use oatmeal and glitter. I used sprinkles just in case one of them does try to eat it.

DIRECTIONS

Place your MAGIC REINDEER FOOD on your lawn right before bedtime on Christmas Eve. Then quickly hop into bed and go to sleep. (Contains enough food for 9 tiny reindeer)

                                            NOT HARMFUL!
