Babies First Thanksgiving Meal

Happy Thanksgiving, Troy enjoyed the First Thanksgiving Dinner. I started cooking on Monday and we had so much food as soon as the Turkey is coming from the oven Troy goes to sleep in my arms, I tried laying him down in his crib but he got up and cried so he slept through dinner in his high chair. Not a sound while we set the table and set the finishing touches on all of the food, then he slept the whole time we were eating, he did wake up when we started clearing things away he was not sure if he was going to eat the food but he tasted most of it. He might have been better off with spaghettit and meatballs the turkey is a little hard to chew for a baby but meatballs were a little easier. He did try some of the turkey, he had some of the jellied cranberries and i saved some of the fresh chopped cranberries so he could taste them. He would not touch the steamed carrots the baby food carrots are much better tasting, I let him taste mased potatoes, we had sweet potatoes with marshmallow and the baby had some of those but I gave him plain sweet potaotes at lunch. He ate the fresh grren beans and some pieces of bread. I am so proud of him for trying these new foods. We still need baby foods regularly so he can get full portions but he is giving table foods a chance.
