Hard knocks of life....

As life always does, it rears its big ugly head.  In the end of may we planned to be leaving the state of Oklahoma and heading to North Carolina.  Not knowing what life would have for us upon arriving.  I decided after having lost everything we owned in storage once that I could not let it happen yet again.  So I made a deal with a friend of mine and my nieces to keep my computer, but she was free to use it while she kept it for us.  Well life didn't go as planned and we ended up living with my brother and my beginning school at Central Tech, for Network Security and Administration.  The first course I am able to do work at school and at home, w/o a problem, however, we are currently using some programs that will not run off this mac.  So I ask my niece to get in touch with this girl to get my computer back while I am in school to do my work.  If I can complete my courses early then I can be free of school that much sooner.  Then we would probably move and let her use the computer again at that point.  However, I called this woman on a saturday, she agreed to return it monday to my brothers work (in her own city, for her convenience) and let him bring it home with him.  So that monday comes and I find out my brother was taking the day off.  I tried to call this woman to let her know to either continue to drop it off, or meet with my aunt and mother to give it to them to bring back, after 3 times no response.  So I get home and leave a message on facebook, she finally writes back, telling me she is going to drop it off thursday (her next day off) because somehow the computer is broken and she has now decided to make sure she's removed all of her files off the computer after our discussion saturday she said she wouldn't worry about it.  She also goes on to say she didn't have her phone, and the computer is broken, (yet she is communicating with me via facebook that requires either a phone or a computer, which came from facebook mobile) So, thursday I would have atleast expected an "Hey, I got the computer to your brothers work, I think its fixed, thanks for letting me use it!" OH NO she has instead deleted me and (the part i really do NOT get) my niece from facebook and myspace.  Go Figure!!!!

I am still trying to get my computer setup to be sure it works as it should... (don't know that it will)..

So on another note, a company has been transporting me to and from school and a lady that regurlarly picks me up and takes me, car breaks down.  She has 3 kids and the youngest being 2.5 yrs old.  The weather here in Oklahoma has been teeter tottering.  And I couldn't bear the thought of her dragging her 2 yr old out in this cold to walk her to daycare, and walk to work.  So she agrees that if I buy the parts she can pay the guy labor to fix the car then pay me back in increments.  So she asks for the money on a wed morning cause she needs to buy the parts that day, so I give it to her.  Well then she turns and tells me that she is applying for a new used vehicle and she isn't going to fix the car.... and she doesn't get approved, but she spent the money on other bills!!! I been on TANF and thor just barely got working I really couldn't afford to do this, but did it thinking I would be keeping the baby off the cold morning streets.... and then she gets mad at me cause I think she was wrong for spending the money on her bills rather than for fixing the car as she agreed to do..... ?????????

Sheesh....

Just don't know, seems like I always get bit when I try to do someone a favor or be nice. 

The woman I let use my computer burned me before I should have known better, but she had come begging me to forgive her and she was so sorry, and what am I supposed to do?  UGH!!!!

Omgosh...I'm so sorry. I think it's obvious you just need to take care of YOU! You certainly don't need "friends" like this! Geesh! :(
