This was one TOUGH Thanksgiving. We were not going to go home because after the funeral and the weekend it just seemed like way too much but at the last minute we decided to go. I wish we hadn't. It was dreadful. My family was still sitting Shiva so I cooked a vegan and non vegan meal, my dad was in a HORRIBLE mood and just so mean. My MIL could NOT understand that vegans and vegetarians don't eat chicken broth and it turned into a battle. It just felt like everything that could go wrong went wrong. I am glad I got to bring my dog home with me. That was the one good thing. I am just Thankful to be HOME now. I fee llike I never want to leave my house again :D I am staying home for Christmas this year for sure. I hope everyone else had a wonderful holiday!!

thank you :) We are still going to celebrate Hanukkah because I have my whole life. I convereted to Christianity in June but I am still going to celebrate the culture I was raised with, plus growing up my Dad is Catholic so we always celebrated all the holidays anyway :D

So sorry you had a rough Thanksgiving. I guess this means you turn things around and enjoy getting ready for Christmas. Do you celebrate Hanukkah as well?
