I don't know why, but honesty seems to have died. Before it was common sense that bit the dust. Now what was once a respectable quality for a person, honesty, is also getting dragged into that hole by being replaced with ego fluffing and butt kissing of various forms.
I do not and will not buy into it. I've always thought and always will think that lying is an insult to the intelligence of all parties involved. Heck most people consider a person that is honest with their self about their faults to be wise. Sure honesty sucks some times, but it sure beats smelly smokey farts and people thinking you are dumb.

It's the #1 thing I hate about a lot of places on this website - if you don't just tell the OP that they're a good mommy, a good person, and always right, you're "bashing." God forbid you correct someone, then you're just a horrid person.
All the back patting without regard for TRUTH makes me sick.

Oh you hit the nail on the head with this one Robyn. Lying is one trait that I deplore in people.
