Now that I'm all settled in...

I'll make a little update and let all my CafeMom friends know what's going on with me. Some of you know, others don't, that my family packed up and moved from Washington state to Kentucky. We finally did it! We left Washington on August 1 and arrived at our new home on August 8, 2009. With the settlement my husband received for the motorcycle accident he was in last year, we were able to pay cash for our new home. It's so beautiful and such an amazing blessing to not have a mortgage or rent to have to pay. Here's a pic of our new house:

It's 3 bedroom, 2 bath but we've turned the attached garage into a huge bedroom for the girls, put our son in the house and with the extra bedroom in the house we made a hobby room for scrapbooking and such. We have 3.5 acres and in the spring we'll be planting a big garden- this is very exciting for me because we haven't been able to have a real garden in years.

Hubby is working as a mechanic until he can get his own shop up and going and we hope that can happen soon. The children are doing so great- Cera even got straight A's on her first report card in her new school. They're all making new friends and staying in contact with their old friends in Washington as well.

My writing is slow but going as I'm making this home our own. I bought paint for the master bathroom yesterday and hope to get that started this week.

Anyway, we're doing great and loving our new home state. It's so beautiful here and the people are amazing. I am so in love with this place and feel so blessed that God has put us here.

So that's what's happening with us. :)
