You're right, people really do need to grow up!! Let's start with your husband!

All we were did was help some friends but instead we get stabbed in the back. We met this couple a few years ago when we were living in North Carolina. About a year and half ago, money was tight for them and they were selling some stuff. We bought their 52" Tv from them. We made payment arrangements and paid them off for it fairly quickly.

This past summer we made a move from North Carolina to Texas and all of our stuff went into storage in NC. They offered to take the tv so it wasn't sitting in storage. I was hesistant because we had had some minor issues in the past with them, but I figured why not? I should have put the tv in storage.

We made the offer at the begining of October to sell it back to them at the same price. The husband told my husband that he needed to talk to his wife about it. About two weeks later, he calls and says they will buy it, and he will Western Union the month on the first of November, and he will be paying us in full. A few days after the first he calls and says he can only send $50. Then a week and half later he calls and says "some things came up" and that he will be sending a money order on the 15 for $200. It never shows up, so we call, and call and call. He's not answering or calling us back. My husband leaves a couple of messages on Xbox Live and I leave messages on his wife's Myspace. He finally messages my hubby back on xbox and says he mailed it last Sunday. Well, that was a week ago, and still no money order in the mail. (And yes, I know the mail does not run on Sun). So the last 4 days, I have been leaving comments on his wife's myspace status, because we call twice a day and leave messages and can't get a return call.

I'm not one to normally put a person's business out there, especially if they are having a hard time, but I've told them repeatly, If you can't send it, just tell me, don't avoid me. So today his wife finally messages me back on Myspace, and says that her husband says he calls and my husband doesn't answer his cell (that bull) and that he mailed it, and that she doesn't want to be involved, it's between us and her husband, and she changes her status to say "Some people need to grow up".

This was my reply:

We have left several messages over the last couple of days, and we don't hear back from him. He said TWO WEEKS ago the money was in the mail and it hasn't shown up. The only way we seem to get a response is through you. Your right, some people do need to grow up, instead of playing petty childish games.

I'm pissed and so is hubby, he called him and left him a nasty message. He's threating to have a friend go and pick it up. All we are asking is if they can't send it then just pick up the phone and tell us, don't hide from him. And the worse part of this situation, her husband is a SGT in the Marines. If I knew what unit he was in, I would call his command in the morning.
