 ******Update*******

Ok the whole point of asking this is becasue my old boss (had to leave). Would have out dated items  in the bottom of a frig we sold sandwiches out of. Like he would or we would fine outdated sandwiches, milk, anything that would out date fast. He wanted use to put it on the bottom shelf and wait untill he could take it out of the system.  Sometimes it would be days. I think its completly sick I would bye nothing out of a frig if there was out dated stinky sandwiches or anything eles in it. He told me I was wrong because I refused to put it in there and reported him to higher people in the company. I just wanted to see if I was wrong, thanks for all those that took the poll for me. Your awsome. I usually dont get many people to comment on things unless I post something wrong then they have to tell me that. blowing kisses

I have gone to regular grocery stores & found some items expired. IE: spices, boxes of baby rice cereal, etc. I just check dates & make sure product I'm buying isn't expired. I also take expired stuff to store management.

You also need to check is it the sell by date, like on a carton of milk.  It is still good 7 days past that date.  There is the use by date, but some labels say, is best if use by date.   It would be safe to eat but would not be the best quality. Then as on medication there is a use by date, and I would not use it.
