bah with the sickness

So when we took in Nico for her well check we must have picked up some kind of flu. A week and a half later me Tony and Nico are so sickly and miss Lilly who was at school is just fine. I almost never get sick I went like 3 years before I got preggo without catching anything. Well my luck has ran out I guess. For the first time in forever I almost called in sick today and the only reason I didn't is because we have inventory so I have all this work the HAS to get done. It started on turkey day and Nico just had a little sniffle runny nose that progressed to coughing and not eating like normal. And now it seems like she has a gurgle in her chest so we are taking her in today. We couldn't get a appt. with her regular doc so we are taking her to urgent care at least they have a lab a so maybe we will get results quicker. We are getting her tested for H1N1. I was in denial for a little bit thinking it was just a cold because none of us had a fever. Well I looked up some info today and it said you can have the flu with or without fever YIPEE not!!!! I have such a bad headache I can't imagine my baby having this. Poor little baby now I know why she has been so miserable on top of popping a new tooth over the weekend. And the other thing that is bugging me is my twin sis is having her baby any day now and I am supposed to be there with her, well if I'm sick I can't even go to the hospital to she her and my new niece let alone be in a delivery room with her and I was so looking forward to being her support. AHHH just my luck the day we all get better the next day Lilly will get it. I have been doing everything pretty much myself because hubs can't function when he is sick. Who takes care of mommy when she is sick??????? So I'm sick the baby is sick and I still have to manage to do everything while holding a crying baby. Normally I have the patience of a saint, but this sickness has got me to the end of my long rope. I need a day of sleep to make up for the past week of no sleep. Please Lord send some healing vibes down upon my family.

On a better note turkey day was good at the in-laws, but they are awesome so that's expected. Lilly starts basketball on Saturday. I really hope she likes it. She also has her first crush and I find things around that have "I love Evan" written on them. It was said boys b-day today so she made him a card. She was just gonna leave it on his cubby without signing it. I convinced her to sign it and give it to him, (but I made a bet with dad she will chicken out) Then she tells me she wanted to dress up for said boys b-day. She is just like me boy crazy at 8. I was hoping it would be a few more years : ( It is cute in a innocent way though. Well thanks for reading ttyl Ali
