So he's not going to Iraq........

..........my little brother that is.  We had been told that he would be going to Iraq in April/May, but he was told that it wasn't definite.  So after last nights presidential address, it's pretty clear that Iraq is not the case.  I wasn't happy about him going there, but I figured it was the lesser of 2 evils.  Afghanistan...... man, this really sucks.  I just don't have a good feeling about this, my stomach has been in knots.  I was actually hoping that we would be pulling out & he wouldn't have to go anywhere.... wishful thinking I suppose.  I'm really hoping he gets down here for the holidays, because I'm not sure if we'll see him before he leaves otherwise.  It'll take a small miracle to get myself & the kids back to NY before June.

my little brother is going to the same place around the same time. my hubby is in iraq right now. my hubby will come home and my brother will leave. it will be ok though. i will pray your family and especially for him.

You might be wrong on that!!! --  My newphew got his orders two weeks ago, they are sending him and a bunch more to IRAQ.....  -- My newphew has been shipped over to afghanistan 2 times... this time to Iraq....  JUST FYI.. You really don't know where they'll send him unless he's told you....

OMG... Na, Im so sorry :(  Sending you lots of hugs & prayers (for Kyle too).  I hate that Obama said he'd start pulling those men & women out of there & then does this.  I know it wasnt going to be something that happened over night, but come on already... anyway, Im not getting into politics on here, someone might eat me alive... lol... I hope that he gets down there before he leaves. If you need to talk, call me.. Im usually here--Miss & Love you guys!
