Dirty Parents

So I stay up for 3 days cooking a slammin Thanksgiving feast. I'm exhausted. While my sister in law is here she asks me to babysit her son overnight. I say ok, even though I've got 4 kids of my own and did I mention I'm exhausted? My cousin then calls and asks if her daughter and nephew can come over. (For those of you who aren't keeping track its me and 7 children.) Finally the next day, sis in law comes to pick up her son and lets these words slip out of her mouth "yea, he just got over pink eye" whatever, I'm cool. Cousin comes by and asks "was my dd complaining about her ears or throat? she just got over a bad case of strep and ear infection" I'm sorry but WTF? So needless to say, we are all barking like dogs, fevers of at least 101 all over the house, My 9 month olds eyes were glued shut with mucus this morning and my 2 year old keeps crying and saying her ears are burning. Again I say WTF? I've got 4 kids. Why bring sick kids around well kids and spread disease? I get paid to babysit for strangers, family is free, Ive had to turn money away because my house is like quarantined right now. WTF? DH woke up in tears because his body hurt so bad last night. All I can hear is coughing and crying all over the house. I feel like crap, but of course Mom has to keep going. I totally need some encouragement right now. Why would my family screw with our health like this? I know I've said it before, but this is the last time I'll babysit for family. I'm going to get more OJ and tissues. I need a spa day.

That is totally craptastic.  I'd be calling that fam and telling them that they need to get their butts over to your house and help out since they got you all sick!

I am so sorry, that is not okay!  Sometimes family can be worse than anyone else to us.... Saying a prayer for your family to get better. Hang in there mama, I know it's not easy when it seems like everything is on your shoulders. ((HUGS))

those moms were very inconsiderate...When ANYONE in my family is sick we ALL stay home so as not to pass it o to others. I was in the house for over 3 weeks in Nov cuz me and my 4 kids had the flu.

Yeah if I were you, no way I'd babysite for them again

OMG, I cannot believe that you "family" has done that you you!  That is terrible.  When Myself or my sister and sister in laws are supposed to watch each others children, when even one of us or the children are sick, we RESCHEDULE!  so that we are not contaminating the rest of the family.
