My Sis' Baby Shower Cakes...

This is a cake I made in Aug. before she knew what she was having.  My mom's co-workers threw her a surprise shower. It was rushed so needless to say, it's not the neatest.  It was a 2 layer white cake-1 layer dyed light green the other pale yellow to match the invitations I made for the shower.  I iced it w/  vanilla bc & colored some to pipe on the sides, the wording read "Here Come The Pitter-Patter of Tiny Feet" followed by footprints that continued to the top of the cake. I put 9 sets on there, 1 for each month of her pregnancy-yeah I'm weird like that :)

These are cupcakes, & a box, I made as a gift for a shower she had last Saturday that her MIL threw for her. We know she's having a boy & she wanted to have a turtle themed shower & she found a blanket that had stars she liked so I combined the 2.  *Her MIL didn't aske her what she wanted, so I figured w/ these she'd have at least one turtle themed item*

I was pretty impressed w/ this idea.  *I only said 5 because I figure by that age he'll be able to voice his opinion about what kind of cake he wants:)*
