I saw this posted somewhere and since I haven't thought about what makes me happy in a long time, I thought this would make me remeber all I have to be happy for...here they go

1-My son, Daniel

2-My Family

3-Christmas time

4-Having a fireplace to hang our X-Mas stockings

5-Our new house

6-No longer living in the projects

7-My hour drive to and from work, becuase, although there is always lots of traffic, it my hour by myself

8-Cooking dinner and dessert for my family on a Saturday evening

9-Baking with my 4 year old son

10-Watching Daniel have a blast while he makes a mess in my kitchen

11-My new kitchen in my new house

12-Having my 29 year old baby borther move in with us for a couple of years

13-Watching my son catch caterpillars in our back yard

14-Painting on canvas

15-Painting on anything

16-Watching my son pretend to be a dinosaur

17-Daniel's laugh

18-My paycheck

19-Daniel going to kindergarden next year so I no longer have to pay for daycare

20-My grandmother at 75 years old still gives me any allowance...I'm 32 years old and she gives me $20 every month...won't take no for an answer.

21-My best friend in Staten Island

22-My best friend down the road

23-My brother getting up on the roof of my house to hang X-Mas lights for my son to see

24-Vampire novels

25-Going to the movies by myself

26-Daniel's teachers...they are all so great

27-Any time my husband says "I love you"

28-Any time my son says "I love you"

29-Cuddling with Daniel before bed time.

30-Being able to adopt families for X-Mas

31-The friendships I have made on CafeMom

32-Writing short stories

33-My memories of my mother

34-X-Mas decorations

35-Being able to decorate a cake

36-People wanting me to decorate cakes for them

37-All of my friends

38-Spending time alone with my husband

39-My god-children

40-Diet pepsi

41-Having a beer with my brother after work on a Friday

42-Not having to be the one to take out the garbage

43-Any time my brother cooks dinner

44-Any time my husband orders dinner

45-Wrapping gifts with X-Mas music playing in the background

46-Getting cards in the mail instead of bills

47-Daniel bringing home something he made for me in school

48-Going to the bookstore

49-Reading

50-Changing my dining room into a library

51-Being inspired

52-Having a shoulder to cry on and being able to do the same

53-My God mother, who is the most supportive person I know

54-Cake

55-An ice cold glass of water on a summer night

56-Having a big back yard

57-Birthday parties

58-Warm pajamas

59-Fuzzy socks

60-Buying gifts for people

61-The look on my son's face on X-mas morning when he sees that "Santa" showed up

62-Secretly being "Santa"

63-Scary Movies

64-Target

65-Taking groceries to my grandmother

68-Digital cameras

69-Going to the mall to take a picture with Santa

70-Hugs and Kisses

71-Fresh baked bread

72-Watching my son learn something new

73-Having a washer and dryer in my basement

77-Sending X-Mas cards to complete strangers

79-Being pregnant

80-Holding your baby for the first time...and every time after that

81-Daniel telling me that I am beautiful...even when I look like crap

84-My old boss, AL...coolest man on the planet

85-My realtor, Lois, who leaves pies on my doorstep for every occasion

90-Being with my husband for 15 years...even though I am only 32 years old

91-Making people laugh

92-Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance concerts

93-Visiting friends

94-Being able ot pay the mortgage

Wow!  What a great list.  I am going to try to make one of my own.  I think I will title it "What I am thankful to God for".  Thank you for inspiring me.  I am an older mom, but I think it is always a good idea to think of what makes us happy or thankful, especially at this time of year when there is so much commercialism with Christmas.  Thank you so much!!!

goodAwesome list! I think sometimes I get so wrapped up in the hustle & bustle of life of being a single mom I forget how lucky I really am. Thanks for helping me slow down and take a step back to see the big picture. Happy Holidays!
