She is alive and doing better

On Saturday my close friend Vanessa's mom got into a near fatal car accident. They said she would die in surgery, she flat lined 2x and they got her back. They stabilized her and finished surgery. Today she alive. She is awake. She is in very bad condition but she will live with no permanent damage aside from some very bad facial scaring. Thank you every one that prayed for her and her family. It was a very scary weekend sitting and waiting, thank you to all who supported me and cared.

Seems you just can't get a break this season :( 

I am so glad that she is alive and will with good medical care be able to return to a normal life.  I have two HS girlfriends who had been in a serious car accident as kids, thrown through windows and who had major scarring - but we didn't care, they were still great girls.

Its so hard. when I was 15 my best friend of 10 years was killed on mothers day in a car accident. I still havent dealt with it.
