What does your child(ren) do for comfort, when they are sick, sleepy or hurt?  My 4 1/2 year old has always played/pulled my hair.  When he was younger, if I wasn't sitting with him, he would suck his binky and play with his own hair.  Now, he will say..."I want to pull your hair."  My hair falls out all over the place.  I think it's sweet, but to the point that he's old enough to stop.  Just wondering what your kids do.

One of mine sucks his thumb.  My twins both cuddle with me and put their hands on my tummy. My daughter goes to Daddy.:)

my two year old grandson has to sit on my lap and play with my ears if he is tired or upset.  He has done this since infancy.  Now he pushes the hair away from my ear to play with it.   If he is real upset from a bad fall or real tired he will ask me to move the hair away for him. LOL

When they were babies they had a binky to suck on. But they were very easy going and relaxed kids and didn't seem to need "comfort" except for sitting on my lap for a little while..

My nephew will find the seams inside his mom & dad's clothes.  He usually goes thru the neck area and will rub the inside seam on the shoulder.  He has pulled on seams where he has ruined clothes.  LOL!

My four year old daughter HAS to have her 'Bucky-Bye' it's a stuffed cat blankie thing that looks like it's really been through some things (he's in the dryer right now, in fact) I bought it in the hospital gift shop when she was about four months old. God forbid I should ever forget him on a trip!
