I love spending time with my 14 month old daughter, Lola but C'MON!! This week has been one challenge after the other for me to get even a few minutes of ME time. I think she is secretly trying to sabotage me! LOL We will call it Lola-tage!!

Usually it is not THIS much of a challenge to get a workout in but it seems the cards are stacked against me this week! My husbands job has been a little more demanding then usual so he has not been able to help out. My mother is sick with this ongoing cold/sinus infection so she is not an option. My in-laws can help out now and then but it has not worked out for them to help this week either. Throw in yesterday's snow storm on the one day this week the in-laws could help out and yesterday's workout session was scratched as well. I did manage to sneak in a short run Tues but she stopped that 3.5 miles in....then yesterday I did get a decent run (6.25 miles) BUT I have not been able to get in ONE session of circuits! My training schedule for the week is already shot to hell!

I have even been getting up early-I mean EARLY-3:30am to get my workout in. NOPE! Lauren must sense that Mommy is up and moving because she wakes up. Today she got up at 4am. I spent a good 1/2 hour trying to get her back down to no avail. Ok so scratch working out this morning....

OK so that leaves me nap time...yeah, she is having none of that this week either. For the girl who will nap for at least an hour to two this weeks napping sessions have been limited to 30 mins or less. UUGGH!! Alright...

Running outside with her in the stroller is always an option...hmmmm. Let's see what Lauren has to say about that this week. "WWWWWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" and refuses to stop wiggling and screaming enough for me to strap her into the BOB. Usually this is not a problem.

Even going potty this week has been an ongoing challenge. Yup, she needs to be right there with me with arms outstretched asking for "up up" with that sweet little smile.

So I am convinced that she is trying to sabotage my workouts this week. Or any other few moments of personal time I might need. Now I know, I know...I totally signed up for this the moment she was conceived but this is just my little rant for the day. Typed over a 30 minute period of time while my darling daughter sits on my lap, playing with the mouse, tapping the keys of the laptop, playing with my hair...

And i would not have it any other way-I love my girl with all my heart but I do miss my me time this week. A lot!!

That so sounds like Evelyn when she is teething.  Needs to be right at my heels and no one is better than mama!

You look great and knowing you are eating AWESOME!   So don't feel too bad about missing those work outs.

Sounds like hot tea and bath in order after bedtime tonight!!!
