I am sending my friend Christy a package to where she is stationed in Iraq. I never sent a pkg before and was wondering what to send her..I tried asking her, but she seemed to be away from her computer. She told me she doesn't really need anything but I can surprise her..She would like some cookies though. I feel bad cause I don't really know what kind of magazines she likes or even books..
So if you have friends or family in Iraq what do you send them/what do they like?

Well I'd pick out any girly magazine, cosmo, cookies, and little treats they may be used to having at home. Just try and think of little treats you'd miss of what to have.
Hey girl...
I have lots of adopted HERO'S......Two who I call "MY SON'S " but I also take care of all the guys and gals in their unit....
No matter what you send you CAN NOT go wrong....Most are happy to just get SOMETHING....I ship 2 HUGE boxes every other week, I also email , and write them as well....
Never had any complaints as of yet, in-fact they say they can't wait for my boxes to arrive because they know there's loads of goodies in them ( the boxes ).....
One thing to keep in mind I was told by my Marine HERO is that since he is out in the " danger field " to send unscented things , as in personal hygiene items....
Your doing a WONDERFUL thing Sweetie!!! Way to go....Happy to call you friend ;-)

That's real sweet...no matter what you send I am sure she will be thrilled! Here are some ideas!

I'm not sure if it's listed on any of the links...but, I've heard that women like to have "personal hygiene" items included (pads and tampons). Although...I'm thinking some good cookies might win out! :-)
