My husband has an incurable disease that I only started to learn about about a year ago. It's really tough to adjust to but I'm trying my hardest to make it work. I don't know if you've heard of it but it's called Lazyitis. It's a debilitating disease and it sucks the life out of you.
My husband use to be helpful but then shortly after my son was born things started to change. He would sit on his video games all day and it seemed as though he started to be in his own world. Nobody was able to reach him! Then the excuses started to come. Things like, "I didn't know how to do this." or "I didn't know you could do that." I could go on and on.
His hearing started to go. How sad :-( It's like he only heard certain things so I had to start repeating things to him about three or four times. He can't even hear his own child crying in the morning. And now I'm afraid to leave my son with him because his vision seems to be going as well. He has no problem seeing his video games but whenever he has to watch his son he can't see him!
This is a serious debilitating disease and I'm hoping that they start research soon. We need to find help for people like this! Please, don't let another loved one become a victim. Go to http://lazyitis.urbanup.com/1090032 for more information.
Thank you for listening.

I know we're supposed to hate the disease and not the man, but I admit I find myself wanting to beat the man over the head with skillet, and not the disease!
