WW2 Concentration Camp Survivor died

Most people assume because he was a CC survivor, he was Jewish. But the truth is Russia was sending Christians into Concentration Camps and forcing the men to be soldiers in their Army while holding their wives and children, parents, sisters in Concentration Camps.
On December 12, 2009 My DH's grandfather, Dmytro "Jim" Derkach died. He was born in the Ukraine on Oct. 20, 1920. He and his wife and 2 daughters immigrated here at the end of WW2. He and his wife went on to have 2 more kids a son and a 2rd daughter. He has 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Rest in Peace, Grandpa Jim. You will be sadly missed
