This past spring I had a crazy bout with nausia. My stomach never hurt, but out of no where I would just throw up. Yuck---I began journaling ( writing down every food and how I felt before and after) and found that the times this was happening was after a dairy product of any kind. So I visited with a doctor and they seemed to think I had developed an allergy to Milk and dairy altogether. So, I had to make a diet change and rethink the way I ate. Pretty much got it under control... I had also had issues with acid reflux. not just at night but sometimes during the day sitting straight up. I began journaling again as well as eating supper alot earlier ( 5ish every day) and was making sure I had in mind what we were going to eat for supper. ( took the temptation away from eating out) Things seemed to settle down again. I thought I was being conciense of what we were eating and even practiced portion control. With our life choices and changes being made, we were feeling better and sleeping better and not taking as many tums or maallox. Yahoo!
Just this past Thursday, a few months after other issues, I began to have a feeling like someone was squeezing my mid section, I couldn't get a deep breath and I was very nausiated. Even had that gaggy feeling, but no acid reflux issues yet. Yuck again... This went on through Friday. On our way to Abilene, TX , Friday afternoon ( about 3 1/2 hr drive) We had to stop once the other time we kept driving. Both times I threw up horribly. (note: gallon ziplock bags are a very handy tool to have in the car) The thing I couldn't figure out was my stomach never hurt. I was sick again on Sunday, before we could get home and it was mostly acid. So... I was talking to a friend and she thought it could be acid reflux and that her husband had some simillar symptoms. She suggested keeping a food/ feeling journal for about 2 weeks and calling their doctor in Amarillo, TX. She also said to google "foods to avoid with acid reflux" I did and was quite shocked at the results. Things I hadn't even thought of and I had consumed over half the list in just a few weeks time. WACKO!!! A for sure diet plan is going to take effect immediately. I am ready to not have this feeling anymore. Thanks for listening.

I so hope you find relief soon. I occasionally suffer from acid reflux (it's much better since my stress is better managed) and have felt almost like throwing up but haven't. It can't be pleasant. :(
Hugs!!!
have you ever heard of davoticulitis(spelling?) basically there is this small lil pocket in the intestines that things get caught in. things like tomatoe seeds, the hull of corn, peas things like that. Look it up as it can cause the symptoms you described and is often mistaken for reflux. also, My abby has raging GERDand if yo want some info let me know. gastrio esophogeal reflux disease, basically really bad damaging reflux. I know mine calmed alot when I lost weight because according to my dietician, the extra fat on midsection pushes up against the ribs stomach lungs etc...and there fore forces acids up. lost some weight and it got soooo much better. feel better soon and hope the nausea goes away.
