I have some very strong opnions of this health care thing. I do think it's a great thing, but I think they could have approached it way differently. The one main thing that turns me off about this is, if you choose not to participate in the reform you will be pentalized 2.5 for taxes...what genius thought of that one. I live in Texas, there are allot of people here who don't make allot of money. I am a sahm with two kids and my husband only makes 27,000 per year, that is not allot of money for a family of 4. We cannot afford the insurance that my husband is offered threw his work, we wouldn't be able to pay for rent if we had it. People don't choose not to have insurance because they don't want to it's because they cannot afford it. I am not sure if we will be able to afford it so we may end of one of those familys thats gets a fee every year....again that's a brilliant idea...charge people that can't even afford the health insurance. How is this plan suppose to benefit? the middle class will hurt from this..what are your thougts?
