You Hoarde

I got a call from my sons teacher telling us that my six year old just called another student (female) a whore. I was like.."what"? My son doesnt say that word :(  I tried to wrack my brain to think of where he could have learned that word and I couldnt place it. Sure he has gone through the language thing and has picked up a few words like bitch and ass....but NEVER whore. In fact he now knows better than to curse and says "DUMMY" when he is angry.

So I picked him up and asked him what happened. He didnt wanna tell. So I said that all the presents that he bought were going back to the store. He finally told me that he called the little girl a "hoarde" as in World of Warcraft alliance and hoarde. He said " but Mom, its NOT a bad word in Daddys game" I was laughing becuase OF COURSE that sounds like whore : )  I made him walk all the way back to the class so he could tell the teacher the word he said. I made him say it three times and he clearly said hoarde. She felt bad, he felt bad but Iam glad it all got cleared up in the end :) He is no longer allowed to talk video game lingo in class!

   Poor Kid! He was probably wracking his brain too; to figure out what he had said wrong! LOL! Kids are So Cute & Funny- Glad you got it all straightened out-

I can so see my 5 year old saying that. I guess I better warn his teachers now! I am glad that the situation was resolved.

KrhMsh ...Thanks for correcting me LOL. I dont play :) Dad does and I was sooo not gonna ask him how to spell it !
