Feel the Christmas spirit tugging at your heart strings this time of year, but can't afford to donate to charity? My friend's orphanage has a chance to earn up to $5000 in donations in the next 24 hours (less now, actually) and it's completely FREE.

If you don't already use iGive.com when you shop online, here's how it works: When you search for what you want, it gives you a list of search results including many different stores that sell the item you're looking for. The difference is, every time you search, a donation is made to your favorite charity. Today, they're donating $1 on behalf of everyone who registers and completes at least one search. (Less than 24 hours to go!!)

I've been using this for years. It's COMPLETELY FREE. And it makes me feel so good because I'm actually helping a cause. Some of the stores who sell through iGive will even donate a percentage of the purchase when you buy from them. It's a great way to help out at a time of year when everyone is asking for donations, but most of us are strapped for cash.
