To All,

As many of you know, the holidays can be highly stressful times. Not because of the pressure to get gifts, but overall there is so much preparation for just one day-like a wedding. As a mother myself, I am particularly frazzled in trying to balance a family and a job during these rough economic times. I recently found myself snapping and feeling both out of control and exhausted.

I took a time out. I sat there for thirty second on Amazon and found a great book- The Stocking Stuffer by Violet Summers. The book can be found at

After reading this charming romance/holiday fiction, I realized it was worth the price. Also that no matter how bad life seems it can really only be worse. It's all in a perspective. After finding ways to lighten my load at work (without getting into trouble for fear of being laid off), I was able to spend an extra hour per day with my child and hubby. Best of all, I was able to find a few more minutes for myself. This in turn has helped me be more atetntive to my family and see them as a delight not as yet another burden to carry in life.

In short, I HIGHLY recommand that you purchase the book for the author, who is using proceeds to help other mothers who have fallen on hard times. The book makes a great stocking stuffer/Kindle addition.
