Just give me the friggin coupon and save your "carbon footprint" baloney

 So... I like to save money.  Who doesn't, especially this time of year.  I signed up for a daily coupon thing to be sent to my email.  GREAT!  Today they had a 75 cent off coupon I could get for Malt-O-Meal cereal.  That's pretty dang good so I went to get it.

Needless to say their was a bunch of malarkey about how they were so 'noble" because their packaging saves the planet..lol.  Sure they eliminate the box and so there is less to dispose of, but PLEASE they are not doing it for that reason.  It's all about cost and profit.  They aren't fooling anyone.. or maybe they are fooling a few out there that may think that this company cares so much for Mother Earth. 

In order to get my coupon, I had to answer the question, "What are you doing to reduce your carbon footprint?  Oh please, just give me the friggin coupon.

My answer: Turn off the TV anytime a windbag gets on and starts talking about carbon footprints.

For me, I don't really care WHY they change their packaging... If it's more profitable for them, more power to them. But the fact remains that we ARE ruining this planet with our garbage, exhaust fumes, etc. Not in our lifetime, no, but what about our kids, and their kids? We can't continue the way we are going right now, so any improvement, for whatever reason, is a good thing to me...

NO.. they didn't change their packaging.  THEY have always bagged their cereal.  That's what makes this so hilarious!  Somebody down in marketing and advertising said,, hey, let's use this angle to suck people into buying our cereal.  LOL

Yeah, it's just cheapy cereal and yes, they are just jumping on the bandwagon and making the most of some current trend.

most of this is just Communism control anyway  look at all the "people" involved  , but yeah my carbon foot print is big i have big feet , yes we trash our planet with junk but we need to chnage that because we are meant to care for the earth not tarsh it  think WALLEY the company  that was in control over eveyrthing that is where we are headed with this gobal warming thing
