When no one is around and it is just you and God, who are you?
Do you like the person you are? If not why?
I hear wonderful people beat themselves up because someone has taught them a standard which they feel they do not measure up to.
The only standard you need to meet is the one set from God. He is just.
Proverbs 16:3
Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
We are all put here with a purpose and if my purpose is to...ummm, design shoes...well then I will be a great shoe designer...but I may be terrible at organizing filing cabinets...does that mean I am a moron, an idiot a worthless person? NO! We are not all designed to be good at the same things. If we were we would not really need each other...Would we?
The thing is to find out what it is that you excell at...what is your passion?
Now just because you are a window washer does not mean that if God wants you to go help an old lady with her taxes he won't gift you in that area so you can fulfill His plan. I have mentioned before that when I go to do a job many times I have skills I was never taught, I have knowledge that only God could have given me, sometimes it sticks, sometimes it goes, and sometimes it comes and goes as needed.
Just remember when everything you try seems to turn to pooh, you are still wonderfully created. God never makes a flop...we choose to be flops or successes.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Psalm 33:11
But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.
