Things I've already said this morning...

We've been up for two hours and they are jumping with excitement cause Santa is coming tonight....we are also going to visit with extended family today...so there is the added excitment that comes with a family visit...but it occured to me and I had repeated myself for the fourth time..

"Yes, we are going to see Grandma and Peapaw, Yes! Krista will be there too"

 that having four boys of various different ages comes with two constant things is my life.....

1) Constantly repeating myself.....

2) As soon as I get one boy out of one stage of life, there is another right behind him and the things that worked on the boy preivously  does not work on the current boy and stage...Until recently we were in the never ending diaper and potty training stage.... 

And as I sat back and thought about how often I repeat myself, I started a mental list of my most common phrases. I started to loose count after about me saying 15 times

"(insert one of the boys name here) WOULD YOU STOP HITTING (insert another child's name)!

"What the hell was that noise!"

"Peyton, put the cat done!"

"(insert child's name) if you don't get in there and (insert chore) we will NOT go anywhere today"

"Can somebody please tell me where the hell the damn remote went, the TV is going off!"

"If I have to tell you again, I'm gonna do it without words"

"Yes, you have to take a bath and you have to brush your teeth! I don't care if you took one yesterday"

"Because I said so that's why!"

"Well if you hadn't hit him, he wouldn't have hit you"

 

I could keep going on with this list, but I really must go rally the troops...I wonder how many times I going to say..."NO, you're not wearing that either, I said to go put on your (insert any piece of clothing) I don't care if you like that shirt better...Damn it! We are not arguing about this..I said to put on (insert piece of clothing) OR WE STAY HOME!!!

haha... mine started with "don't lick the cat" so don't feel bad :-) Merry Christmas!
